Same sex marriage is legal in Iowa!

So we're got Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, and Iowa. I think it's great that Iowa did this - MA, CT, and VT are all known, at least regionally, for being fairly left-leaning (even if where I live is a conservative pocket, Boston certainly isn't). Iowa legalising same-sex marriage means that states nominally upholding "traditional" values can recognise that same-sex couples are equal. (California, are you paying attention?)

Only Massachusetts, Connecticut and now Iowa. Vermont has a civil union, but there is new legislation for same sex marriages, making it the first state to have laws allowing them without judicial mandate.

This is amazing though, to have that kind of precedent in a conservative state is unprecedented.
