3 cups flour
1 cup lactose-free milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2.5 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup olive oil
handful of grated fresh ginger
three splashes rosewater
Mix eggs, milk, sugar, ginger, rosewater, and oil.
Mix baking soda, baking powder, and flour.
Add flour to other mixture.
Baking for 15 minutes at 350 degrees (F).
I made these because I've been sick for the past two days and wanted something with ginger for my stomach and while we had gingersnaps, those don't exactly help the stomach. I'm not sure these have helped, but they certainly haven't bothered my stomach (which is more than I can say for the smell of coffee). The rosewater keeps the ginger from getting too overpowering. (I can usually find rosewater in the health food store or in the international/natural food sections of the grocery store.)
Also, does anyone actually care about the recipes I post?
