The thesis draft is passed in. I know there are things that need to be worked on and tweaked (when aren't there?) like my references to both Rather and Jerome and my conclusions, which I fear began to ramble. However, both are eminently fixable problems.
I have plans for fixing the study of European history in America. (Sorry, the Anglo-Normans are not a model for all of Europe.) It might not actually fix anything at all, but maybe it will make a broader sense of history accessible to more people. Everyone needs more Golden Horde.
I am working on a fanmix for the seven deadly sins and seven holy virtues. The hard part is actually finding the theology to back up my song choices. (I am, in fact, that anal retentive, but it is fun for me.)
I have been asked to write a steampunk!Mongols short story. I already have ideas, so people might want to keep an eye on
journeybysea if they're interested in such things.
All of my classes are relating back to The Bone Shared in ways which delight me to no end. When the thesis is actually done, I'm going to be writing the most fun fanfiction of all time.
I really ought to do some Spanish homework, but for the moment, I am savouring the moment of a finished draft with good music, a pinot gritio in my new vintage blue goblets from Etsy, and some Colby cheese. Life, right now, is good. I think I will sleep tonight to dream of flying yerts and clockwork soldiers crossing the Urals.
