I've only made this with a percolator, never with my French press, but this is a tasty dessert coffee.

Coffee grounds of choice
Cinnamon
Water
Coffee maker

Mix cinnamon with coffee grounds. Make coffee as usual.

*

Alternatively, for a dessert coffee, melt four semi-sweet chocolate chips into piping hot cup of black coffee or a square and a half of semi-sweet baker's chocolate into a pot of coffee.

*

Both of these are good "afters" for a nice meal and are considerably lighter than many standard dessert. They pair well with seasonal fruit or small wedges of shortbread and long conversation.

This is awesome, I drink it all the time. The kind I drink is a little different - it's got cinnamon, cocoa powder, and fresh cream. Local favorite down here around Mexico. :)

To the grounds. I have a small coffee pot that makes about four cups, and the way my friend taught me (she's from Mexico and it's apparently how they make it down there), she puts anywhere from one half to 3/4 teaspoon (I like more, mmm) of cinnamon and a tablespoon of cocoa powder to every 4-5 scoops of good coffee. That's good in and of itself, but when you add some half-and-half or heavy scream (you can use whipped cream, but the sweetness tones down the rich flavors and isn't as good, imo) it becomes sooooo good and indulgent. You can also add an ounce of Kahlua before you pour the coffee for a nice nightcap that gives it a great, syrupy chocolate flavor. ;)
