Why is Sam so anguished, why did he pull the knife on Dean, why is he sleeping with the knife under the pillow and packing more silver bullets, why won't he let Dean touch him, what happened that Sam feels it better that Dean doesn't know, what did Sam mean about "hurt like Dean's hurt", why is he wondering if Dean could see the people in the town, why does Dean seem to be "missing" time/was that the time he was in hell?, what did Matt mean about killing people, what did Sam want to use Matt's land for, why does Matt hate Sam if Sam helped his family?
I have a faint suspicion on some of those; I'm not sure if I just missed something or if, like I said, you wanted to keep things a little vague. I did really love this fic and hope you do write more!
