Awesome AU. It was strange to see Dean--brave Dean, strong Dean--so traumatized and panicky, but it makes sense. Seeing his little brother almost die and believing himself at fault, knowing what was out there but not knowing how to defend himself because John refused to teach him... Yeah, that would be a terrible thing for Dean. Also an interesting turn-around that it's Dean and John who argue in this timeline instead of Sam and John. When John wants normal, Dean can't handle it. And when John wants to hunt, Sam can't handle it. Thankfully, it all turned right in the end.
