Martha Hat?

So, I geeked it up for the new year and watched most of season three of the new Doctor Who with a friend over the past couple days. (Don't worry, I was knitting while we watched it.) However, now I desperately want Martha's hat from Human Nature/Family of Blood (because I didn't want it enough last summer when it aired on TV). My Google-fu seems to be failing me because I can't seem to find a pattern for it on the web. It may be that a pattern for exactly this hat doesn't exist (although knowing the Who fandom, I doubt this greatly), but I figure there is probably a pattern out there that is fairly similar.

I realise that these aren't necessarily the best picture in the world of a hat (like, I have no view of the top of it), but finding any screen caps was hard (and I'd like to thank [livejournal.com profile] lifeonmartha for aiding me). Help? Anyone?

Leave it to the combination of Doctor Who and knitting to draw the elusive Julie Mankin out of her hidey-hole.

According to users in the Doctor Who knitting group on Ravelry, Martha's tam is crocheted, with a user-created pattern to be found here (http://www.catscradlecreations.com/patterns/humannature.html).

Two suggested knit alternatives are this (http://www.whatifknits.com/?p=22) and the Tam-Topper here (http://www.kraemeryarns.com/patterns/).

Hope that these help! (Also...if you still need a link for Voyage of the Damned, I can assist with that as well. Let me know!)

You are win.

And a friend got me a link to a sketchy Asian site for Voyage of the Damned. The things I do for Dr Who....

There's a really good online version of it here.
